LEWIS HAMILTON FOUNDATION
Amount donated: £26,157
The Lewis Hamilton Foundation, a charity established by the 2008 Formula One world champion, provides funds to existing charities and good causes. It is focused on improving the lives and opportunities of children and young people living in ill health or poverty in the UK, Europe and developing nations.
In November 2009, the Richard Burns Foundation made a donation of £26,157 to the Lewis Hamilton Foundation (LHF).
Two recent beneficiaries of the LHF’s work are Chestnut Tree House and Keech Hospice Care. Chestnut cares for children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses living in Sussex, while Keech supports life-limited children in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.
