Shell and Tash’s amazing trek to the Avenue of Volcanoes hope to raise £20,000 for RBF

Shell and Tash, are taking part in the Avenue of Volcanoes Trek in Ecuador in February 2012. On the last day of the 10 day trek, they will be climbing Mt. Cotopaxi, one of the largest live volcanoes in the world standing at 5897m with a frozen summit. Starting the final ascent at midnight, while the ice is compact reaching the summit approximately 8 hours later after a night of constant climbing up steep glaciers. This will be the toughest adventure either of them has ever undertaken on and are aiming to raise a staggering £20,000 for The Richard Burns Foundation.
